The mountainous climate of Epirus, the rigorous selection of fermented grape mass from the indigenous variety of Debina and the mastery in distillation provided a solid basis for the ageing of Chrysi Vidra tsipouro. A truly special and upgraded distillate, without anise. It exhibits a very soft finish due to the double distillation and amber colour and complex aromatic character due to its barrel-ageing in French oak barrels for two years.
Debina is a white grape variety from the Zitsa region of Epirus. It is used to produce intense wines of superb quality and freshness. Due to its high acidity levels, it is a perfect choice for sparkling wine production. It represents aromas of apple, pear and peach.
